Helix Music was set up in June 2025 to promote concerts and opera. The charity’s focus is new music by British composers performed in unusual venues.

Our first project was an opera by composer Peter Hugh White on the subject of the scientist Rosalind Franklin. The premiere was staged in the Chapel of King‘s College London on The Strand on April 21st and 22nd, 2026 with a fully professional creative team and cast. A second production took place in Cambridge performed by the Cambridge University Opera Society shortly after the premiere of Rosalind.
